Angie Vanbesien is a finance executive with over 25 years of experience in public sector and not-for-profit financial leadership. She currently serves as Director of Finance at Hamilton Child and Family Supports. Angie brings a strong track record in strategic financial planning, risk management, and Ministry engagement. Her leadership is marked by a commitment to operational excellence, system modernization, and alignment of resources with organizational priorities.
Prior to her current role, Angie held senior finance positions at the Children’s Aid Society of Haldimand and Norfolk and was an Audit Senior Manager at KPMG LLP, providing assurance services across health care, manufacturing, and not-for-profit sectors.
Angie is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and holds a Master of Accounting and a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.
She has two daughters and she enjoys traveling, boating, and camping with her family.
