Susan Nicholson

Susan Nicholson is a lawyer with the City of Hamilton.  She has spent her career as in-house legal counsel, spending 18 years as General Counsel with CAMI Automotive in Ingersoll before transitioning to municipal law with the City of Kingston.  She is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University with a Honours Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and from Western University with a degree in Law.  Susan has over 30 years of involvement with the United Way, starting as a canvasser in the workplace.  She has served on various UW committees through the years including Board Chair for the United Way of Kingston Frontenac Lennox and Addington (KFL&A). While in her role with KFL&A, she had the opportunity to attend an international meeting of the United Way in Vancouver where she was able to hear the many ways in which the UW builds community. Susan is a strong believer in the power of the United Way to change lives.  She has three sons and enjoys spending time with both friends and family.
