Lisa enjoys her work as President of the ETFO Halton Local, representing approximately 3000 elementary teachers in the region. She has been a teacher for nearly 20 years and has dedicated her career to championing Ontario’s public education system. She is passionate about social justice and human rights issues and has led or been involved in many initiatives that make a difference to students, teachers, and their school communities. Lisa is also an active delegate to the Oakville and District Labour Council, an organization that represents 10,000 public and private sector union members and does work to ensure that the concerns, beliefs, and priorities of working people are supported in the community.
