Alex Dutton, left, and Jordan Chesterton-Green were two of approximately 50 kids checking out the shoe selection during the Tiger-Cats, United Way of Halton & Hamilton and Carmen’s Group Kicks For Kids shopping day at Sport Chek Saturday. The group was shopping at the Meadowlands location for new running shoes. They were helped out by Hamilton Tiger-Cat Mike Daly, who was on hand to help find sizes and styles for all the kids. Children involved in the program are part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hamilton and were selected from three locations in the city — the Ellis Avenue site, Sanford Kids Club and McQuesten club at St. Helen’s school. – Cathie Coward,The Hamilton Spectator
